Deputy President lays foundation stone for Ikolomani Campus
Deputy President Hon. William Ruto has today laid the foundation stone for the proposed Ikolomani Campus in Kakamega County.
“KMTC plays a very important role in Kenya’s healthcare. This expansion will ensure that you not only continue to train for the country but for the global market,” the Deputy President said.
He added that the Ikolomani area Member of Parliament Hon. Bernard Shinali will set aside Kshs 20 million from the County Development Fund kitty while the National Government will contribute Kshs 30 million for the construction of the campus.
The Deputy President was received at the site by KMTC Board Chairman Prof. Philip Kaloki, CEO Prof. Michael Kiptoo, Board Director Mithamo Muchiri, Kakamega Campus Principal Dr. Jeremiah Ngomo and Kisumu Campus Principal Dr. Kelly Oluoch.
