Overview

History
The college Started in1966 as a training center for in-service enrolled nurses in Nutrition.

Location
The college is located in Karen 20 km from the Nairobi Central Business District.

College Population

Our current student population is 560. We have 8 lecturers and 38 non-teaching staff.

Entry Requirements

Diploma:
Aggregate: C plain;
Mandatory subjects: ENGLISH /SWAHILI; BIOLOGY C; and
C Minus in any of the following; physics, physical science, chemistry, home science agriculture, math

Certificate:
Aggregate C minus
With C minus in English or Kiswahili and D plus in any one of the following; ; physics, physical science, chemistry, home science agriculture, math

Housing and dining

At KMTC Karen, we have a hostel for ladies with a bed capacity of 168. We currently do not have a men’s hostel but plans are underway to build one as well as expand the one for ladies.

We have a dining hall with a capacity of 40 where normal African dishes are served every day of the week.
