KMTC Honoured at the 2025 Public Service Reflection Dinner in Kisumu

KMTC was honoured for its courage and fortitude in showcasing the talent and unique innovation of the College in a regional competitive process on December 5, 2025, during the 2025 Public Service Reflection Dinner and Agenda-Setting Forum for 2026, held in Kisumu City. The event, hosted by the Office of the Chief of Staff and Head of Public Service, Mr. Felix Koskei, brought together senior public sector leaders to review national progress and set priorities for the coming year.

KMTC received a notable award in recognition of its continued leadership within Kenya’s health sector and its unwavering commitment to excellence in public service. This recognition reflects the College’s vital role in strengthening the health workforce, advancing quality training, and contributing to national development through skilled human resources for health.

KMTC Board Chairperson, Mr. Joseah K. Cheruiyot, and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Kelly Oluoch, attended the ceremony and received the award on behalf of the College. They joined leaders from across government in reflecting on milestones achieved under the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA).

The forum offered a meaningful opportunity to review progress, assess what has worked, and identify areas that require further attention. Participants highlighted how whole-of-government collaboration has strengthened service delivery across sectors and reaffirmed the need for a disciplined, citizen-centred, and results-driven public service.

As the country prepares for 2026, the insights shared at the gathering will guide planning and sharpen national strategies. KMTC remains committed to supporting these goals by equipping the nation with competent health professionals and contributing to Kenya’s broader development agenda.
