KMTC Molo Campus set for major infrastructure upgrade
Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) Molo Campus is set to receive a major infrastructure upgrade to enhance the learning environment and student experience.
The development includes the construction of a modern administration block and a new students’ village.
The plans were announced on Friday, January 30, 2026, during a campus tour by the area MP, Hon. Kimani Kuria, who was received by the CEO, Kelly Oluoch.
During the visit, Hon. Kuria also assured the Campus of additional improvements, including cabro works on the access road to enhance mobility and accessibility within the Campus.
He confirmed that resources will be allocated in the next financial year to support the projects, noting that his office will continue working closely with the College.
He emphasized that the investment supports youth development and strengthens healthcare capacity in the region.
The MP reiterated his commitment to transforming KMTC Molo into a centre of excellence for health training.
On his part, Dr. Oluoch reassured students and staff of the College’s continued focus on welfare and academic success.
He highlighted the importance of access to student loan facilities, such as the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB), noting that financial stability is key to helping students stay focused on their studies.
The CEO further announced that the Campus is expected to receive a bus in the next financial year to support student transport to clinical placement sites.
Beyond infrastructure, he encouraged students to remain disciplined, work hard, and value humble beginnings as part of their journey toward professional success.
Also present during the visit were the Registrar, Mr. Ronald Wasike, the Acting Administration Manager, Dr. Pricillah Anuri, and the Principal of Molo Campus, Mr. Richard Korir.
