COLLEGE EMERGES AS TOP BRAND CREATING AN IMPACT ONLINE
The Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) was named the 2024 Digitally Fit Awards Business of the Year on Friday, September 27, 2024, for its outstanding online impact through social media, website, and other digital platforms.
KMTC won gold in the Technical Training Institutes and Polytechnic category at the KeOnline Digitally Fit Awards in Nairobi.
“We selected your institution after carefully analyzing your online presence, Google ranking using the keyword ‘Top Medical Training Centers in Kenya,’ social media presence, votes, and an expert score,” said the event organizers.
This award qualifies KMTC to represent Kenya (#TeamKenya) in the grand finale against other East African businesses on December 6, 2024.
Over the years, KMTC has heavily invested in enhancing its digital communication channels and embracing digital transformation to improve information flow within the institution and globally.
“We have hired top-tier digital communication experts to boost our online presence, particularly to engage our youthful clientele who prefer accessing services digitally,” said CEO Dr. Kelly Oluoch.
He also noted that the College has expanded internet connectivity across its 86 campuses, enabling over 60,000 students to easily access online services.
In a statement delivered on his behalf by the Deputy Director of Academics, Dr. Nyawira Mwangi, Dr. Oluoch thanked the Corporate Communications and ICT divisions for positioning the College to win the award.
He expressed optimism that KMTC will outshine other brands from the East African region at the upcoming grand finale.
