KMTC and Austrify Medical GmbH seeking partnership to create job opportunities for College graduates

The Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) CEO Dr. Kelly Oluoch on November 28, 2023 held talks with a delegation from Austrify Medical GmbH, in a move that could see College graduates secure jobs in Austria.

The delegation from Austrify Medical GmbH, an Austrian Company recruiting nurses, was led by the CEO Guenther Gnadenberger.

Speaking when he received the delegation at the KMTC headquarters in Nairobi, Dr. Oluoch stated, “This strategic collaboration marks a significant stride towards representing Kenya in the global healthcare arena.” He further noted that “this initiative is aligned with the recently launched KMTC Strategic Plan 2023-2028, emphasizing collaborations with the intent of creating opportunities for College students in the foreign markets.”

The CEO extended his gratitude to the Austrify Medical GmbH team, emphasizing that KMTC stands at the forefront, providing up to 85 percent of healthcare workers in both the private and public sectors within Kenya.

Mr. Gnadenberger expressed confidence in KMTC’s capacity and said, “KMTC is a valuable source of skilled nursing professionals for the Austrian market. We are specifically targeting diploma and higher diploma graduates whose exceptional skills align with the needs of the Austrian population.”

He further highlighted a noteworthy incentive, outlining a ten percent annual salary increment for the recruited nurses.
