KMTC and THET to Collaborate for Kenya’s Health

In a groundbreaking collaboration, the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) hosted a team from the Tropical Health and Education Trust (THET) for a crucial scoping assessment of the Global Health Workforce program in Kenya.

This was in response to the launch of the Global Capacity Building Grant Programme (GCB) which collaborates to increase health system and health worker capacity between England and South Africa, Uganda and Zambia through global learning opportunities.

Led by the CEO Dr. Kelly Oluoch who was represented by the Deputy Director Academics Dr. Nyawira Mwangi, the KMTC team engaged the THET delegates for a dynamic discussion aimed at enhancing healthcare training towards strengthening healthcare systems in the country.

“We are excited about the potential impact this collaboration will have on our healthcare workforce. Together, we are forging a path towards a healthier, more sustainable future for Kenya,” remarked Dr. Nyawira.

This partnership signifies a critical step towards a reinvigorated healthcare landscape, underscoring the significance of international cooperation and knowledge exchange in shaping a robust healthcare future for Kenya.
