A ray of hope for Mutomo residents as College kicks off a free medical Camp

Hundreds of Mutomo residents in Kitui County on Wednesday (June 14, 2022) flocked free medical camp organized by the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC).

As early as 9.00 am patients with different ailments started trooping to the camp venue awaiting the much-needed services.

The area MP Hon. Rachel Nyamai made an impromptu visit to the Camp where she thanked the College for touching lives in the area.

She pledged to continue partnering with the College in an effort to strengthen teaching and learning.

Services offered include outpatient, screening for prostate, cervical cancer, diabetes, and hypertension; eye and ear care; and dental.

The official opening of the 3-day camp which kicked off on Tuesday is scheduled for Wednesday  June 15, 2022.
