KMTC Chuka campus receives a new bus

KMTC Chuka Campus has received a brand new 51-seater bus in a colorful event graced by the Board Chairman Prof. Philip Kaloki.
Area Member of Parliament for Chuka/Igamba Ng’ombe Constituency Hon. Patrick Munene, Chuka University Vice Chancellor Prof. Erastus Njoka, KMTC Board Director Mr. Mithamo Muchiri, CEO Prof. Michael Kiptoo, Ag. Deputy Director (Administration and Finance) Dr. Kelly Olouch, Corporation Secretary Dr. Miriam Muthoka, Principal Chuka Campus Mr. Samuel Ndukanio among others joined Prof. Kaloki in flagging off the bus amid cheers and excitement from students and staff.

The event also saw the students gifted with a Television set by Hon. Munene to fulfill a promise he had earlier made to them. Bishop Ken Mwangi of Chuka Full Gospel Church joined the joyous occasion and offered prayers to bless the bus. The bus will ease transport of students and faculty to clinical areas and during extra curricula activities.
KMTC Chuka Campus was started in September 2015 through collaboration between the local community, KMTC, Chuka University and the County Government of Tharaka Nithi. The Campus offers Diploma in Clinical Medicine, Diploma in Nursing and Certificate in Orthopaedic Trauma and Medicine.
