KMTC Kilifi Students Benefit from County Support

KMTC Kilifi female students have benefited from a donation of sanitary towels from Kilifi County Woman Representative Hon. Getrude Mbeyu.

The activity that took place on April 14, 2023 and organized by the Kilifi Campus Gender Mainstreaming committee in partnership with the County Woman Representative’s office saw an index batch of 10 sanitary boxes donated. 

Speaking when she presented the donation to the College, Hon. Mbeyu said the items will enable needy female students in the Campus lead a dignified life. “The support is aimed at reducing the harsh effects of poverty that disadvantages some of our female students leaving them vulnerable to other challenges as they try to survive,” she said.

Additionally, the were sensitized on available opportunities in the County including bursaries, scholarships, access to non-refundable grants for women owned groups and organizations.
