Lamu Campus set to benefit from infrastructural development.
The KMTC Board of Directors toured Msambweni Campus on 4th February, 2020, to monitor infrastructural development currently underway.
Board Chairman Prof. Philip Kaloki who led the team appreciated staff for their good work. “The Board and Management are working to strengthen processes in the College to enhance training for present and future generations,” the Chairman said.
The Chairman noted that once construction of the eight classrooms and multi-purpose hall currently underway is complete, the Campus would have the capacity to mount more need based courses to benefit residents from the County and the Country at large. He added that the Campus would receive a double cabin utility vehicle in the ongoing efforts by the Board to strengthen transport systems in the Campuses.
Reiterating the Chairman’s sentiments, CEO Prof. Michael Kiptoo affirmed the commitment of Board and Management to develop capacity in the Campuses for better service delivery.
Board Director Mr. Mithamo Muchiri urged staff to do their best. ” If we can all do our best, we can take this institution very far as we endeavor to serve Kenyans even better,” he said
Board Director Mr. Frederick Wamwaki reiterated the commitment of the Board to address issues unique to each Campus to ensure quality service delivery to the students and Kenyans in general.
