President Uhuru Kenyatta paid a visit to the KMTC booth

H.E. President Uhuru Kenyatta paid a visit to the KMTC booth Monday (February 7, 2022), during the official opening of the inaugural Health Workforce Conference in Mombasa hosted by the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education with over 500 delegates from 24 countries in attendance.

President Kenyatta, flanked by Health Cabinet Secretary Sen. Mutahi Kagwe among other dignitaries, made his first stop at the KMTC booth to get a first-hand experience with the learning process at the College.

Board Chairperson Amb. Zachary Muburi-Muita, accompanied by Acting CEO Dr. Kelly Oluoch, is leading the College delegation participating in the conference.

The conference themed “Repositioning Today’s Health Workforce for the Future” is aimed at providing a platform for stakeholders to deliberate and come up with a way forward on harmonization of the health professionals training curriculum.

The College has lined up seven research papers for presentation at the conference.
