The Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) has scooped two prestigious awards in the ongoing Nairobi International Trade Fair (NITF).

The College exhibition was ranked the Best Tertiary Level Education Institution Stand other than University. This was based on the branding, availability of information materials, product display, and customer satisfaction.

The second award was the Stand that Best Interprets Current Show Theme. The theme for this year’s trade fair is ‘Promoting Innovation and Technology in Agriculture and Trade’.

The College displayed services under the sub-theme ‘Training Health Professionals Towards

Promoting Innovation and Technology in Agriculture and Trade’. The Judges were satisfied that the College services in the exhibition showed maximum relevance to the theme.

The awards were presented to the College on Wednesday (September 28, 2022) by Deputy President HE. Rigathi Gachagua and received by the KMTC Board Chairperson Amb. Zachary Muburi-Muita, flanked by the Chief Executive Officer Dr. Kelly Oluoch.

The NITF is Kenya’s largest Trade Fair in the East African Region providing regional, continental and global exhibitors to display and demonstrate their services and products.

Last held in 2019, the show is back on the Jamhuri Grounds.

The seven-day event which kicked off on Monday (September 26, 2022) will offer a unique opportunity for Kenyans to explore training options available at the College.
