KMTC Receives Donation worth half a million in the ongoing fight against COVID-19

KMTC received a donation worth Kshs 500,000 from Weetabix East Africa in the ongoing fight against the Corona Virus in the Country on 28th May,2019.

Receiving the donation, KMTC CEO Prof. Michael Kiptoo lauded the move observing that it would go a long way in strengthening the efforts by the College, the Ministry of Health and the Government of Kenya in combating the pandemic. “What you have donated today will not only be consumed by clients in our quarantine facility but also by members of staff who are at the frontline in ensuring their well-being,” he said.

Weetabix East Africa CEO Mr. Dominic Kimani appreciated the efforts of the College in taking care of Kenyans during this difficult period. He took note of the fact that no business succeeds in crisis, hence the decision by the company to contribute to the Government’s efforts in the fight to flatten the curve and get the Country back to normal.

Board Directors Mr. Fredrick Wamwaki and Mithamo Muchiri expressed their gratitude for the support declaring that it would be a big boost in the fight to beat the virus.
