The Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) made a resounding impact at the Homa Bay International Investment Conference 2024, urging participants to consider investing in student accommodation.

In a high-level plenary discussion on health investment, CEO Dr. Kelly Oluoch highlighted the College’s thriving expansion and strategic shift in investment focus.

With a decade of remarkable growth and substantial infrastructure investments, KMTC has experienced unprecedented demand. Dr. Oluoch emphasized the transition from accommodation facilities to critical utilities like classrooms and modern teaching equipment, aiming to create opportunities for local communities.

This initiative aligns with KMTC’s commitment not only to cater to immediate needs but also to contribute positively to surrounding communities.

The College’s leadership, led by Board Chairperson Mr. Joseah K. Cheruiyot, actively participated in the event held in Homa Bay County. KMTC showcased its diverse range of products and services, actively involving students in the process.

Simultaneously, KMTC took an active role in the 2nd Homa Bay International Investment Conference, held at Tom Mboya University. The three-day event, starting on February 27, 2024, served as a platform for converging ideas and opportunities to foster health advancements and economic growth.

H.E. President Dr. William Ruto’s presence underscored the government’s commitment to prioritizing healthcare. President Ruto highlighted collaboration between public and private partners, emphasizing healthcare infrastructure investments and policies prioritizing citizens’ well-being.

During the conference, KMTC’s booth received visits from prominent figures, including Governors James Orengo, Gladys Wanga, Anne Waiguru, Cecily Mbarire, U.S. Ambassador to Kenya Meg Whitman, and others.

Student demonstrations showcased KMTC’s commitment to education and community development.
